Who We Are

Information We Collect
Information you provide through our contact form (name, phone, email, program interest, and your message) and through our free trial booking (participant name, date of birth, address, parent or guardian name and contact information, program and class selections, and the typed signature and timestamp on our liability waiver). Our website host also records standard technical server logs.
When you enroll in a program or start a membership, we also collect what the enrollment form and agreement ask for: the participant's name and date of birth, the parent or guardian's name and contact details, emergency contacts, the people allowed to pick up a child, and the signed agreement, including the drawn signature, the signer's name, their initials, and the time it was signed.
Students and families who use our class apps have an account, made with an email address and a password. For each student we keep class records such as belt rank, attendance, and stripes earned.
How We Use It
To respond to your inquiries, schedule and manage trial classes, keep waiver and agreement records, run enrollments and memberships, take payments and send receipts, track attendance and belt progress, contact you about your visit and classes, and, if you gave consent, send text messages about our programs.
Text Messaging
Consent to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase, message and data rates may apply, and you can opt out anytime by replying STOP. Phone numbers and text messaging consent are not shared with or sold to third parties for their marketing.
Payments
Card payments are processed by Stripe. Your full card number goes to Stripe and is never stored by us. We keep the card's brand, its last four digits, and a reference Stripe gives us, so we can show which card paid and, for a membership you have agreed to, charge the card saved for that membership on the agreed schedule. Stripe handles your card details under its own privacy policy.
Checking In
Our class app can check a student in to class from a phone. To confirm the check-in is happening at the studio, it asks the phone for its location and compares it with ours. The location is used only for that comparison, at the moment of check-in, and is not stored. You can always check in at the front desk instead.
How Your Information Is Stored and Shared
Your information is stored securely with the service providers that run our database, card payments (Stripe), email delivery, and website hosting, and they process it only on our behalf. We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information if required by law.
Children
Our website is intended for parents and adults. We collect information about children only when a parent or guardian provides it, such as booking a child's trial class or enrolling them in a program. We do not knowingly collect information directly from children under 13.
Cookies and Tracking
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Our Home and Contact pages show a map of our location embedded from Google Maps; it loads from Google only when you scroll to it, and Google may set its own cookies under Google's privacy policy. If we add analytics tools in the future, we will update this policy.
