Grappling Inside a Taekwondo School
Bares is a Taekwondo school, and Jiu Jitsu is taught here by a qualified instructor for students who want grappling as part of their training. It is a real BJJ class, not a token one, and it sits alongside the striking work rather than replacing it. Train one art or train them all.
What to Expect
Classes cover the fundamentals of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu: positions, escapes, sweeps, and submissions, taught step by step and drilled with partners at your level. We explain the why behind every technique, which is exactly what students who've tried other schools tell us they appreciate most.
Our Jiu Jitsu classes are no-gi, and you don't need any special gear to start, just comfortable athletic clothes.
